My Story
Alohadeys is a lifestyle and wellness blog dedicated to inspiring others to live their best life. Created by Hawai’i-born Jackie Dey who now calls San Diego home, her unique dreamscape is influenced by her worldly travels, appreciation for beauty and a lover of all living things.
After losing her mother Delia (known as “Dey” by loved ones) at an early age, Jackie chose to honor the namesake of her middle name as her greatest inspiration and the motivation to fulfill her purpose. Though the loss of her mother was profound, she has undoubtedly guided her throughout her journey and kept the foundation of family steadfast in all that she does.
As the saying goes, “you can take the girl from the island, but not the island from the girl,” and for Jackie, this quote rings true. Her effortless fashion sense, natural wellness routines and endless search for beauty are reminiscent of the island lifestyle.
