ZION NATIONAL PARK

I had such an amazing time visiting Zion National Park. One of my favorite parks so far and I think the best time to go is the end of October- early November! The landscape is absolutely stunning with all the change of colors, prime time for photography. Not to mention, the park isn’t as crowded as it would be in the summertime. The special thing about this park is that no cars are allowed in the park, and there are bike rentals right outside the entrance that seriously felt life-changing! You can ride around the entire park in a day which is awesome. Any of them are great, but I rented through Zion Peddler. I highly recommend doing this instead of taking the shuttle through the park.

Biking through Zion National Park. Absolutely Beautiful.

I’d recommend 2 days in the park for your first time. That way you’ll have plenty of time to explore the park and see the major attractions. We started bright and early on the first day. It was COLD! So definitely bundle up with layers that you can take off during the day. One of the first sightings— cutie little deer!

Zion Narrows

One of the most unique hiking experiences that we decided to do on the first day. We biked to the end of the park to the Temple of Sinawava, where the Zion Narrows is located and worked our way back to the entrance. We figured it was going to be super busy and wanted to go there first. You still have to hike a bit of the way to the Narrows once you get to the start of it but the best part of this is you choose how far you want to go into the canyon. It’s an all around hike for incredible views, and overall a must-check off the list of places to see in Zion no matter your experience level.

All the beautiful fall colors- so beautiful!

Gorgeous day!

ANgels Landing

On the second day, our hike to Angels Landing was the priority on the list. It takes about half your day to hike up to the top and back so we knew we needed to start early. This hiking trail is very intense and tough at some points, but 100% worth it. The views at the top were INSANE. I couldn’t get over it. Just a heads up- the hike is very narrow through some parts, which I had to cling to chains that were bolted into the rock. If you are afraid of heights I wouldn’t recommend doing it, as it can be very dangerous.

Long hike, but so worth it!

Epic Views at Angels Landing!

The main lodge in the park. A great place to stop and grab lunch :)

I couldn’t have had a better day.
