I recently had my first facial at SHOP / GOOD, and it was amazing! I have to be honest- I'm nervous about anyone touching my skin, so it has been a while since I've gotten a facial. You just never know how educated people are and the products they decide to use on your face. But happy to say, my experience was quite the opposite of feeling anxious and overwhelmed. My esthetician was very knowledgeable and even inspired me to eliminate all toxic and chemically-laden personal care items from my daily routine. I found all-natural products that work. Not to mention every ingredient in these products was carefully reviewed to ensure that it’s actually healing for our body and not harmful.

She started out with a breathing exercise, which set the mood for relaxation. I like Shop Good because every facial is completely customized to your bio-individuality and is decided at the time of your service. Using Botnia Skincare, my esthetician went into the science behind what each compound was and its benefits as she was creating the mask for my skin. I was given the signature facial, which is A MUST! It's the complete reset for your skin. This facial includes a deep cleanse, exfoliating enzyme treatment, extractions, massage, and a custom mask for a healthy glow. I left with my skin feeling hydrated and happy, and overall relaxed. I cannot wait for my next facial appointment in 4 weeks- they even have a #SELFCARECLUB, which gives you additional savings. This is a no-brainer knowing that this is the best self-care I get all month!

I also want to talk about their sanitation protocols in place because of COVID. The environment is so clean, and all health standards are met! My holistic esthetician checked my temperature before starting my appointment (touch-free), and she was wearing and mask and shield the entire time while still paying close attention to my skin. She explained further safety measures to me as well (wearing gloves and no steam, etc.). They even provide you with a fresh, clean mask on your way out! You just can't go wrong!
